"Jackson Park"

Photographed in Chicago in May of 2005. The site of the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893, the World's Fair that definitively raised Chicago to the status of a city of international caliber, Jackson Park includes the Museum of Science and Industry, the scale model statue "The Republic" by Daniel Chester French, and the Japanese-style Osaka Garden, all originally related to the Exposition.
