"Ukrainian Village"

Photographed in Chicago in November of 2002. Chicago's tapestry of neighborhoods includes ethnic enclaves from nearly every culture, which have changed in cycles of migration over the past century and a half. A strong Ukrainian presence remains in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood, which has several churches, such as this one, modeled after Old World styles.
